Comfort Systems USA Launches a New Approach to Technician Development

Comfort Systems is pleased to announce the launch of its Technician Development Program, an online campus where its technicians can enhance their skills and knowledge. In late 2014, Comfort Systems partnered with HVACRedu.net to greatly improve access to education for its technicians nationwide. This partnership has produced a robust, comprehensive, and engaging online campus that provides a wide variety of educational courses for Comfort Systems’ technicians wanting to boost their career in HVAC.

Roger Rinker, VP of Talent Management at Comfort Systems USA states, “Our Technician Development Program was built by our technicians, for our technicians. Technicians were involved in building this program from start to finish. They told us what they thought was important to them and how we could create a program meaningful to them.”  The program consists of three levels of certification and includes courses ranging from fundamentals to the more complex and technical aspects of being a top-level technician.
